How To Turn Your Favorite Websites To Desktop Applications

Although it changes from person to person, like many desktop applications rather than websites / web applications, it may be because it offers an experience of more native speakers (without address bar and all) when using a desktop application rather than a web-app. Here are two ways you can turn web applications to desktop applications.

For Firefox users

Firefox users can use Mozilla's Prism, but it is still in Mozilla Labs, it is quite stable.

First, get the extension Mozilla Prism for Firefox, or however you can download the Desktop version.

After downloading, launch a Prism application (if you use the add-on, hit the Tools> Convert to web application, Firefox) Enter the URL of the site you want to become a Web App and meet other identifying information.

If the application can not grab a favicon, you can load a local picture, too. If you are running Windows 7, you can create a connection on pin sight.

If you created the desktop version of, say, Gmail, it also alerts you when new mail arrives, it stays in the tray.

For users of Chrome

You do not need add-on to convert web pages to desktop applications in Chrome. It is already built in.

You just need to click on the key> Tools> Create application shortcuts, and you're ready.

Many of you already know, but if you missed this, so try it now.
