Google waves final goodbye to Wave

Google has announced that it gets rid of more than seven in the spring a "season" clean, with Google Wave to be a read-only site since January 2012.

Complete closure of Google Wave should come as no surprise that Google had stopped development on the social networking experience a year ago, but now it is to prevent users from being able to create new waves. Complete closure of the site is set at April 2012.

Say Hello ...

Wave is not the only service out of business - Google revealed on his blog that there are seven in all services shut down and gave the reasons behind each closure.

It is clear why it is to get rid of some - Google Friend Connect is to blend in Google + -, but there are a few on the list will surprise some.

One of these is the renewable energy cheaper than coal initiative, which was set to make the world a greener place, but Google has kept its hands, and explained that there are other companies that it can do the research better than the search giant.

Instead of exercising its own research, Google has published its findings and others hope to continue its green plan.

Other services that close the note are: Timeline search Google is pushing users of Google Trends, Knol, Google Bookmarks lists and Google Gears.

From November to Gears-based offline Gmail and Calendar stops working in all browsers and December Gears is no longer available for download - all to push the company to make HTML5.

"Overall, our goal is to create the experience easier and more intuitive user really great for Google," Google said in its latest round of closures.
