iPad 3 Release Date

Apple has not confirmed their official date of release for iPad 3 yet. Rumors circulating indicate that it might be released in the first few months of next year. Some reports say that trial level production will kick start in the month of October. Some reasons for delaying the release are the new Retina display technology and some legal concerns with Samsung, their main dealer.

The screen resolution is said to be of 2048 x 1536 pixels with HD display and full touch screen facility. It also will possess low weight battery which will last long, but might cost more than the usual battery. This enables the tablet to be weightless at least to some extent. It is said that iPad 3 might have wireless technology which can be used to charge its battery and also to data transfer.

It is also rumored that Apple might introduce SD card slot in their iPad 3 version. People are expecting iPad 3 to have HDMI port to use HDMI cables. They are also expecting it to have Thunderbolt port which will give power, data connectivity and video with a single connector at great speeds. A camera with flash in it is also another expected feature in iPad 3.

There is a heavy rumor stating that the price might be very high when compared to Apple iPad’s previous versions since they are providing more new features this time. But it is also said that since there is heavy competition in the market for tablets, Apple might price iPad 3 at economical price.

With all that said, everyone is awaiting eagerly for Apple to confirm the release date of iPad 3 officially.
