Blogger and WordPress are two blogging platforms used by many people these days. But still many have a confusion to choose which one over the other since both has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The newbies often use Blogger and the experts use WordPress. So, here is a comparison in detail about Blogger and WordPress.
Blogger
You don’t have to be an expert in HTML or CSS to have a blog using Blogger.
It is totally free and has unlimited server facility which allows you to host every single page at no additional cost.
You can run it from the usual web browser and you don’t need to install anything.
Very easy to use and has a much easier navigation facility.
Their new tools provided then and there is of very much help to their users to customize their contents on their respective blogs.
WordPress
WordPress has a choice between free [www.wordpress.com] and paid version [www.wordpress.org]. The free version needs no separate hosting and domain but the premium paid version has to be installed in a separate hosting provider’s webpage and should possess a domain too.
The navigation and the interface are very easy to use and the user gets comfortable using it more and more.
It provides a statistics system in detail, which is considered to be an added advantage.
It has the best SEO tools which are more efficient than any other blogging platform and gives superior and enhanced position in the search engine results.
Comparison
When compared in their customer service efficiency, WordPress gets the first place with more number of topics to help its users whereas Blogger has only a few topics to assist its users.
Blogger can be easily used and created by Google users. They can add Adsense to their accounts and earn some money too.
WordPress offers more templates to choose from, and has a variety of widgets too. It also allows to add more pages like those of a contact page, about page and more such.
Both Blogger and WordPress offer to upload video.
With all these comparison stuff said, it is up to the user to decide on the best blogging platform to start their blog on the internet since both Blogger and WordPress have their own features and elements that might attract different people.
