them. The cybercriminals often target to induce
the malicious material through the flash content.
For this reason, Google Chrome has come up
with its FlashBlock extension. Google Chrome’s
FlashBlock extension sets one free from all the
irrelevant flash ads or content appearing on the
website, by blocking them. This is one attempt to
safeguard websites from unethical issues.
How to Block the Flash Ads?
Subsequent to the downloading and installation of
the FlashBlock extension, one should go through
the following steps:
Upon opening the webpage in Google Chrome
and you should see a small flash icon in the
address bar.
Now, to block the Flash ads on your webpage
select the icon.
You should now see a drop down box with an
option “Block Flash on this site”.
That’s it. You have blocked all the flash content on
the website.
How to Unblock the Flash content on a website?
Sometimes, you need to use Flash content on
your web pages, and at that time you simply
need to unblock the flash.
In order to unblock the flash content:
In the address bar, you can see a small flash icon.

an option “Allow Flash on this site”.
Upon selection, this option will unblock the flash
