Apple Plans To Launch 3D Maps IOS Application?

Apple plans to launch 3D maps iOS App?

Apple has taken a mapping company called C3 Technologies, which creates incredibly detailed maps with three-dimensional photography.

If the rumor is true, C3 photo-realistic 3D model of the cards might make an appearance in an Apple application iOS maps, but the company still relies on Google Maps.

C3 mapping technique uses a camera mounted on aircraft to capture the intimate details of a landscape, super-high skyscrapers to small shrubs.

These landscapes are incredibly detailed and intertwined with traditional 2D maps and satellite imagery and Street View-style photography, leaving you with a ridiculously accurate picture of the route or destination before they even leave your house.

Apple has also acquired a company called 3D maps Poly9 last year, adding fuel to the fire of cartography in three dimensions to measure.

Just as Apple has quietly bought Siri in early 2010, and then use it to function "killer" iPhone 4S at the end of 2011, there is probably little wait 'before seeing an incredibly accurate, high-quality image maps in March - even though we 'd bet that will debut in iOS Six One Stadium next year.

And because of recent work already think that Apple is interested in maps "again", say the voices of the acquisition of C3 are actually pretty likely.
