HTC Vivid Smartphone on Display

If you are interested in getting a new cell phone, then you may just want to check out all of the reviews that can be found online, so that you can make sure that you are getting the right phone for you.  There are a lot of different factors that need to be considered when you decide to get a new phone – or get an upgrade on an old plan.  The first thing you need to realize is that since your last phone purchase, cell phone technology has made progress in great leaps and bounds, and the phones that are now available are much more technologically advanced than the phone you currently own.

Why Upgrade?

Most people have certain attributes that they look for in phone technology, including processors, camera quality, ability to multi-task, processing speed, as well as many other things, and with such a great diversity of people, there is also a great diversity of phones available on the market.  Most times, if a person is in need of an upgrade, they can visit a phone company store and get advice and help regarding phone purchases from people who are trained in the latest technology that the specific companies are currently offering.

The Review..

Today we are going to review one of the most popular smartphones, the Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx.  The design of the Droid RAZR Maxx is built to be both slim and attractive, as well as protect the phone from damage that results from the occasional drop, scratch, or possibly even a low scale liquid spill.  Despite the fact that the battery is larger than most of the other Motorola Droid Smartphones, it lasts significantly longer than any other stock Droid battery, though it does make the phone harder to hold for someone with smaller hands.  The phone comes with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, and the fastest internet connection speed, the Verizon 4G LTE connection, not to mention the visually pleasing 4.3 inch AMOLED advanced display, which is a very impressive set of features.

Issues With The HTC Vivid

Though it has many great features, the phone also has some disappointing issues, including the promise of Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, which was initially supposed to come stock on the Droid RAZR Maxx, which ended up not being ready for release with the phone.  There were also complaints about how the battery was not user removable, and how it made the phone harder to pick up for someone who has smaller hands.

Silas Marms is a big fan of the HTC lineup currently, and is able to provide an objective analysis of the phone due to his lack of allegiance to a specific brand of phone. For more mobile phone reviews, check out his website.
