JVC releases the world's first 3D consumer camcorder: the GS-TD-1

JVC has just announced the launch of the world's first 3D consumer camera - the GS-TD-1. Using the camera, anybody can now shoot 3D content that is viewable on any 3D TV. The GS-TD-1 makes use of two camera lenses and two imaging sensors to capture 3D images in the same way that human eyes work. The camera can be used to shoot content in 3D as well as full 1080p HD, side by side (960 x 1080 x 2) for AVCHD 3D recording and 2D AVCHD shooting. With 64GB of built-in flash memory, you'll probably want to expand it using the provided SDXC card slot.
